So today I turned, am turning 23. Well the day or night is almost over; I guess I have 1 hour and 7 minutes now, left of my birthday. And what a birthday it’s been, fantastic, absolutely fantastic.

On Thursday I got a card from Carly & Brian, who I hadn’t heard from for ages, and that was such a pleasant surprise, today I got an e-mail from Laura wishing me a happy birthday and I hadn’t heard from Laura in ages. So naturally I was so happy that my friends had remembered my special day, even if I hadn’t heard from them for ages. I guess that goes to show what a special friendship we do have and how strong it really is.

I would also like to thank my newly found friend Berit for remembering my birthday and granting me so many happy wishes, it’s means a lot to me.

Also big thanks to Lisa, Anita, Sobia, Noreen and her family, and of course my family. Thank-you to mum, dad and the rest of the clan for your happy wishes and prayers and making this day very special for me. I got great presents, lots of money, and many cards. I’m not going to dwell on where my life is going or any of that profound stuff because I’m too happy right now.
